Welcome to SECB

Believe in your voice, lead with purpose, and inspire change

The Syrian–Emirati Council for Entrepreneurs (SECB) is a pioneering platform dedicated to strengthening economic collaboration and creating meaningful business opportunities between Syria and the United Arab Emirates — with a special focus on empowering and connecting women entrepreneurs and leaders.

Message from the President

The past few months have been both inspiring and transformative for the Syrian–Emirati Council for Entrepreneurs (SECB). As a newly established platform committed to empowering women and strengthening economic collaboration between Syria and the United Arab Emirates, I am proud to highlight some of the remarkable milestones we have achieved together: We successfully hosted our first Investment Summit in Dubai on April 22 — Nova Summit for Future Capital — bringing together over 55 businesswomen, businessmen, leaders, and decision-makers. The summit featured powerful conversations, promising partnerships, and a shared commitment to inclusive and sustainable economic growth. We signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements with key organizations across the UAE and Canada to support entrepreneurship, mentorship, and improved access to capital for women-led businesses. Looking ahead, SECB is preparing a rich calendar of opportunities — including trade missions, networking events, capacity-building workshops, and webinars — all designed to amplify the voice and visibility of women in business. Our mission is clear: to build a dynamic bridge between Syria and the UAE where women lead, innovate, and thrive. To all our members, partners, and friends — thank you for believing in this vision. Your support, ideas, and passion continue to drive this movement forward. And to our community observing Ramadan, I extend my warmest wishes for peace, reflection, and prosperity. Together, we are building more than just a council — we are shaping a future where women are at the heart of progress. With pride and purpose, Mai Alghajari President Syrian–Emirati Council for Entrepreneurs (SECB)
